Apala Naithani

Head of Content

Apala Naithani has completed her Bachelor's and Masters in History from University of Delhi.

She has worked with Reachout Foundation and contributed in various capacities as a coordinator and content developer for different projects like  Naga Oral History: Stories of Empathy, Project Empathy, Identifying Identity, and Meri Pehchan. She is also one of the trustees in Project Empathy.


She is currently based in Dehradun. Endeavour to pursue her higher studies in future along with her passion for learning new languages, delving into poetry and finding beauty in mundane.

ABOUT US

Project Empathy is an endeavour to address the impact and developmental consequences that Empathy has in shaping more sensitive and inclusive leaders for the future, who provide equitable help during times of disaster and crisis as witnessed during the pandemic and regular floods, earthquakes and landslides. It is an effort to bring empathy education in the mainstream curriculum of our schools to nurture emotionally strong and mentally robust humans for the future, who can contribute towards nation building.
